I always love a good rumor don’t you? The latest rumor for this generations console leader (that would be Wii) is that we may be seeing a brand new Pilotwings title headed to everyone’s favorite little white box. Check out the promising quote below and remember to file this one under Rumor:
Indeed, it may well be on board for Pilotwings Wii in the stratosphere during the first half of 2009. A timeliness surprise no one that the firm Kyoto now to get used to such practices.
He whispers that the title should be compatible with the Wii Balance Board, especially for sequences parachute and Miis would be there. Rest now await an official of Miyamoto-san on this subject that everything is perfect in the best of both worlds.

Another day, another mysterious image appears for the illusive commander title that is headed to Wii. What does it all mean?!?!?! Let the speculation begin… I know I can’t wait to see more of what this game could be. Kudos (yes i just used the word “kudos”) to whoever is marketing this title. Here is the image gamers:

A new report suggests that EAD Software Development Group No. 3 at Nintendo is currently working on the next installment of The Legend of Zelda for the Wii penciled in for a 2009 release.
One cannot cannot fathom the possibilities of a new Zelda built from the ground up for the Wii rather than a straight port. I can only begin to imagine….
Mark this one down as a rumor for now as Shiggy, Nintendo’s iconic face, has stated that a new Zelda may not even make an appearance at next years E3. Coincidentally this year marks the first time in a decade that a new Zelda has not hit store shelves.
I love giving stuff away and that’s why we here at Gameonnintendo are giving away a FREE COPY of the amazing SONIC UNLEASHED for Nintendo Wii. Sega was gracious enough to contact yours truly and provide us with a review copy of the game (which you can find here) so I figured, it’s time to give back. You guys make this site worth while and it’s my pleasure to give back.

Hey gamers, if you have a couple bucks lying around (I’m guessing millions), you could buy Free Radical. Check out the press release below and pray that someone..cough…cough…EA… Purchases this talented group of individuals.
Free Radical still exists, that we can confirm, but things aren’t looking good with more than 75% of the workforce now made redundant (over 140 employees); the developer officially up for sale.
The Nottingham-based game developer entered administration in the run up to Christmas, with Resolve Partners appointed to make the best of a bad situation.
Cameron Gunn, representing the administrators, reveals that there has been a lot of interest from third-parties considering the purchase of the developer, other gaming firms presumably eying IP like TimeSplitters with interest.
Forty employees remain at Free Radical, the 140 redundancies effective from the end of the year.
It remains to be seen if something of Free Radical can be saved, but with costs now dramatically cut there certainly seems to be a good chance of something being salvaged.
Below is 10 minutes of brand new footage of the recently released (at least in Japan), Let’s Tap. To me the game doesn’t look half bad but I guess the Japanese public thought otherwise. The title only went on to sell 5000 copies in its first week of release. What do you guys think?
Happy New Year Gameon readers….Although I don’t know if the following list of new releases will make you too happy. Anyone getting anything?
Professor Heinz Wolff’s Gravity

Garfield Gets Real
Australia Zoo Quest
Drivers Ed Portable

Must be Italian…. Ok corny reference there (thanks to all who got it), but Fragile for Wii is looking better and better every day. Something about this title intrigues me and I am very pleased to see that this title is headed to Wii.
Is anyone else excited about this awesome game? Enjoy the new video:
