Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo’s infamous poster boy, is promising Nintendo’s full support for this years E3, and is hyping up the event in the lead-up to June.
“E3 brings a wide variety of key audiences into contact with products from many companies, including Nintendo. It’s the place where creativity is on display, and as a ‘sneak peak’ for our entire industry it helps generate excitement for gamers around the world”
E3 2009 is quickly approaching and it should be a great show. What do you guys think Nintendo will show?
**A NEW GAMEONNINTENDO CONTEST IS FAST APPROACHING…STAY TUNED. IT’S GOING TO BE NICE!!**
Wacky World of Sports brings some of the worlds most obscure sports to the videogame world for the first time…
Wacky World of Sports takes players on a trip around the world to try their hand at some of the lesser known sports of countries including Italy, the Netherlands and Australia. The ten sports featured in the game all start easy enough but the more advanced a player gets the more extreme they become! Tuna Tossing has been a popular sport down under for a number of years now, but just how far can that tuna be thrown in the comfort of the living room? Drag out an old armchair to take part in Furniture Racing, but make sure Grandma is not still sat in it, as those chairs are fast! And if that’s still not bizarre enough, how about ironing a shirt at one thousand feet in the Extreme Ironing event?!
Quick Update: Well the Red Steel 2 hype train has just pulled into the Wii station and already the internet is abuzz. The sequel to the popular Wii launch title has official website which you can find here.
– Red Steel 2 is a series reboot
– runs at 60fps
– takes places in the fictional town of Caldera (think Tokyo meets Reno)
– when Ubisoft saw the MotionPlus, they decided to reboot and take things in a new direction
– cel-shaded style, much like XIII
– aiming for Teen rating “The gore just doesn’t fit for us and what we’re trying to do”
– no multiplayer
– Wii MotionPlus exclusive (can only play with Wii MotionPlus?)
– dual wielding Gun and sword might happen
What do you guys think abut the cel-shaded graphics? I personally like the new direction but I am very eager to see what you think.
