E3 2009: Microsoft’s Conference Moved Up?

Quick Update: Apparently the big boys over at Microsoft have moved up their E3 presentation to tomorrow morning. Check out the quote below and keep it here…. Man I love this stuff!

Xbox just moved up its briefing start to 10:25 am tomorrow due to a very special last-minute surprise.

I really hope Nintendo decides to deliver… Come on big N, don’t let us down (again)…

Nintendo: Big News at Midnight?

And for today’s “Quote of the Day” we are treated to a cryptic message written from the masterminds (cough cough) over at IGN teasing us Nintendo fans about the possibility of a big announcement coming for Wii owners. Check out the quote:

Look out for more coverage of some big Wii games beginning early tomorrow morning. Possibly as early as midnight.

Silly IGN, don’t they know no to mess with our hearts like this?

Keep your eyes and ears open for this one gamers, what a perfect way to steal some of Sony’s thunder announcing a kick ass game tomorrow morning?

The Grinder: First Debut Trailer

I think I speak for all of us when I utter the word “finally”. I am really hoping gamers reward HVS (that’s High Voltage Software) with their gaming dollars and purchase their quality efforts. This title features some of the best graphics seen on Wii and will help fill the void of hardcore titles for the system.

I am very eager to hear some hands on impressions of this game and hope that the initial reaction is positive. Stay tuned…

Nintendo Planning Post E3 Pressor For Japan

“Rumor On”- Here we go gamers; another day, another rumor. Apparently Nintendo will be holding a press conference after next weeks big show showcasing their summer lineup for the Japanese public. Keep in mind gamers, this should be filed under “rumor” for now but a Nintendo only show has been done numerous times before so shouldn’t be totally out of the question. Check out the quote below:

Rumor has it that Nintendo will be holding a big press conference here in Japan immediately following E3.

Actually, this isn’t really a rumor. The source is the Sinobi blog — you know, the blog that always gives out the super early sales information on Fridays. It seems to be a pretty reliable source.

The press conference is mentioned as an aside as the writer discusses how absolutely atrocious the Japanese game market was in May. The writer suggests that Nintendo could end up showing its summer lineup.

That summer lineup will presumably be lead by Wii Sports Resort.

As always, if we hear anything we will let you know…

Sega All Star Racing Announced!

In a frantic battle to the chequered flag, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing sees Sonic and friends speed around tracks set in mediaeval castle ramparts, lush rainforests and bustling cities, all taken from the visually rich and varied universes of Sonic and SEGA. Fan favourites such as Dr. Eggman, Tails, AiAi, Amigo and many more will join Sonic in their custom built vehicles, revving their engines and jostling to stay ahead of the pack. Each character will race around the track in cars, planes, motorbikes, and in AiAi’s case – a banana mobile! Secret short cuts, swift handling and avoiding strategically placed obstacles are certainly the best way to get to the top of the podium.

Aren’t you guys just loving this pre-E3 stuff?! What do you guys think about this newly announced title?
