Call of Duty: Black Ops Wii details

– Separate team making Wii version
– Built ground up for Wii
– Trying to have same experience as PS3/360 versions
– Online co-op
– Treyach trying to “negotiate” with Nintendo regarding Wi-Fi functionality
– Game takes place during the Cold War
– Control elite black ops agents
– Customization, personalization, socialization are important
– Different varieties of ammunition for each weapon
– Game has a “Slaughterhouse” level

I am very pleased that there seems to be a huge focus on creating the Wii version of the next Call of Duty. The game did do fairly well on Wii and I am very happy to see that they are putting forth a valiant effort for Wii owners. Good stuff guys!

Nintendo Power July issue update

Following today’s announcement of the new Sonic that is headed to the Wii, it appears as though Nintendo Power will have all the juicy details on this newly announced title and you can check out the cover below. I am interested to see/hear more about this potential blockbuster and I look forward to more info. Here is the cover of Nintendo Power (July issue):

Nintendo Wii: New Rockstar Game For Nintendo Wii

Quick Update: Acclaimed development studio Rockstar have announced that they’re looking for programmers for a new game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

No other information has been given as of yet but I will be very interested to hear what they are cooking up for Wii owners. As many of you know, a certain franchise called Grand Theft Auto has never made an appearance on an Nintendo home console before so maybe that will change in the near future. Don’t hold your breath on that one due to the lack of sales from GTA Chinatown Wars but the thought of GTA on Wii has piqued my interest.

What do you guys think? Would you like to see GTA on Wii?
