Just Dance 3 Review

Just Dance 3 and the hilarity that comes with the franchise, has arrived again and it’s another stellar addition to the popular dance genre. The multi-million selling franchise has officially arrived on all home consoles and, as usual, is a blast to play, especially if you have a bunch of friends and family members to join in on the fun. This review is specifically from the Wii version of the game and is a fantastic addition to your Nintendo Wii library.

How does this new entry fair? Read on and find out.

If you have yet to play a dance themed game, I suggest you get on the bandwagon. Like the famous Guitar Hero franchise before it, Just Dance is a game where everyone can play and mostly everyone will enjoy. It makes fools out of everyone and will have many people doubling over in pain from the laughter that ensues with hours with the fantastic game.

I had a wide range of people play Just Dance 3 ranging from my 50 year old in laws, our awesome babysitters and my entire family all joining in on the fun. We spent countless hours with this challenging game and loved every minute of it.

Along with solos and duets, Just Dance 3 features quartets which allows 4 players to dance all together. The game boasts you can “play all your favorite modes and dance to the new 4 player dance crew mode where everyone has their own moment in the spotlight with a specific choreography!” It’s basically everything you have come to love about the Just Dance series, plus more (typical for a sequel)….

Graphically speaking nothing here will blow your mind. The game features stylized dancers, decent backgrounds and plenty of flashing lights. Gameplay is king in this franchise so graphics are almost a mute point here…. Although it’s HD counterparts do look noticeably better.

The game features over 45 chart topping songs and with downloadable content available, Just Dance 3 will no doubt keep gamers busy for months on end. The game has a nice range of songs and everyone should find a song that they at least “like enough” to test out their dancing skills.

The reason I play video games is to have fun. Video games can be an escape from “normal life” and should entertain anyone who enjoys them. Just Dance 3 is both fun and entertaining for anyone who checks it out. If you can get a bunch of friends together, I guarantee you all will have fun. I showed up late to the “Just Dance” party but I am happy I tried this popular franchise out. It is very fun and has given me some very sweet memories from this generation of gaming.

Overall MVGN Score: 8.5 out of 10.

Thanks for reading.
