New Skylanders Title Announced

Following the immensely popular Skylanders title of last year (your’s truly thought it would be a hit), Activision has officially announced that Skylanders Giants will be headed to every major console in the near future. The new game will have forward compatibility meaning every beloved character from Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure is 100% compatible with Skylanders Giants, leveled-up stats and customizations intact.

    I’m happy this game was such a success. I thought it was a cool idea but the price point and “hassle” of all the toys I thought would deter the public. Glad I was wrong. Can’t wait for similar games for Wii U’s NFC thing. Nintendo needs more sweet-ass figurines. Functional figurines for Wii U games would be even sweeter. Cha-ching!

  2. I think Nintendo saw the popularity of this and will jump on it with Wii U. They can/will make a killing on the figurines.

    Imagine a Pokemon title like this??!?!? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
