“The games are coming, we promise…” How many times have we heard that from Nintendo? While I have been enjoying my Wii U since its release, there has been a lack of truly engaging games since the systems launch and only a smattering of great titles have released for the system this year. Nintendo first-party developer Retro Studios has recently moved into a new, bigger office that is still located in Austin, Texas. We don’t know what exactly the studio is developing, but according to Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, it will be fantastic.
I really can’t wait to see what Retro has been conjuring up for Wii U and pray that they open “Pandora’s box” before the end of the year.
What would you guys like to see?
I want to see 2 NEW IPs and a Star Tropics reboot on Wii U. I’m concerned if Retro returns to Samus Aran, she won’t be anywhere near as feminine and sexy as Ninja Theory made her in Other M. Prime Samus was awesome through three mind blowing games….and then I played Other M. Despite the narrative controversies–that’s the Samus i want to see!
