Wii U “Is Not Over Yet” According to Iwata

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has gone on record stating that the Wii U “isn’t going anywhere yet”. The big N announced earlier today that their newest home console has sold 9.2 million units since launch in 2012. Iwata told Japanese news publication Sankei that there are more unannounced titles in development for the platform. Here is what he had to say regarding the system:

“Wii U is not over yet. I want to continue to build on playing on people’s high expectations [for the system].”

While this may be normal “president of a company” jargon, we hope that the big N means business. We here at MVGN absolutely love the Wii U and think that the system can have a decent life ahead of it. Although we are eagerly awaiting Nintendo’s next big thing, we think that the Wii U has some nice titles coming down the pipeline.
