Middle-earth: Shadow of War™ is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor™, winner of more than 50 industry awards, including 2015 Game Developers Choice Awards’ Game of the Year, Outstanding Innovation in Gaming at the 2015 D.I.C.E. Awards and the BAFTA for Game Design. In Middle-earth: Shadow of War, players wield a new Ring of Power and confront the deadliest of enemies, including Sauron and his Nazgul, in a monumental battle for Middle-earth. The open-world RPG is brought to life through the expansion of the award-winning Nemesis System. The robust personalization from the first game is now applied to the entire world where the environments and characters are all shaped by player actions and decisions, creating a personal world unique to every gameplay experience.

News for PSVR Sales have been released and the company has stated that the hardware has sold through 915K units. In an official statement (found below), Sony shared the exciting news and we hope to hear more about what’s coming to the hardware at this year’s E3. Check out the official press release here:
Tokyo, February 27, 2017 –Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) today announced that PlayStation®VR (PS VR), a virtual reality system for PlayStation®4 (PS4®), has cumulatively sold through 915,000*1 worldwide as of February 19, 2017.
“Since its October launch, PS VR continues to be well received by people around the world thanks to the high quality, revolutionary VR experience it offers. With more than 53.4million*2 PS4 units sold through globally we firmly believe PlayStation VR will take the lead position in the VR market” said Andrew House, President and Global CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment. “We are increasing production to meet demand and will continuously support content developers as they create innovative VR experiences that are only possible on PlayStation.”
The number of PS VR software titles and experiences reached more than 100 globally as of February 19, 2017, and the number of developers and publishers has increased to more than 360, ranging from smaller independent teams to the industry’s top publishers as well as a range of entertainment companies across movies and music. Currently there are more than 220 software titles and content in development for PS VR with highly anticipated launches on their way, including ACE COMBAT 7 (BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc.), FINAL FANTASY XV (SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD.), STEEL COMBAT (COLOPL, Inc.), TEKKEN 7 (BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc.), Farpoint, Gran Turismo Sport (SIE WWS) in addition to video content. By the end of 2017, over 100 new software titles and experiences are expected to be released.
Nintendo has released an all new video just ahead of their big release for Nintendo Switch showing players how to set up the system. It seems pretty straight forward, but it’s always nice to see any company make their products as approachable as possible. 1 million copies have already been sold for the newly released PS4 exclusive, Nioh. The game has received a ton of praise in the way of reviews and the title looks to be setting the retail shelves on fire. I have yet to play the game, but that won’t stop me. Nioh has also been kind of hard to find at retail so if you see a copy, make sure you pick one up. As a thank you to players, a special suit of armor will be released with the next patch. Mass Effect fans, this just in; Mass Effect: Andromeda has officially gone gold. The company announced the exciting news via twitter and has the gaming public pretty excited about the title. Since we have been posting some Mass Effect: Andromeda video’s, our anticipation for the game has steadily grown. I actually have skipped out on the first couple in the series but this one has really caught my attention.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to release on PS4, XBOX One and PC on March 21, 2017. If Mass Effect: Andromeda is something that you’re into, let us know!
Great news soon-to-be Nintendo Switch owners; SnipperClips will make the launch of the system. Available exclusively on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch, this charming game features three main game modes. Players can grab a friend or go it alone in World mode, or invite some more friends who can make the cut and play Party mode or the fast-paced Blitz mode with two to four players. The unique game will retail for $19.99 and you can bet your bottom dollar we will be downloading this one.
It has also been announced that a free demo for the game can also be downloaded from Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch on March 3. Don’t sleep on this one my friends, it looks pretty fun.

The open beta for Ghost Recon: Wildlands is officially underway. All PS4 players will be able to play it from now until February 27th. PS Plus is needed, but only if you want to experience co-op portion of the game. Ghost Recon: Wildlands debuted last e3 and turned some heads with the first trailer. I am hoping to be able to check out the open beta and if I do, I will be sure to write up some impressions.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games today unveiled the latest trailer for LEGO CITY Undercover announcing the newly added two-player cooperative mode that will allow friends and family to fight crime in LEGO CITY together for the first time. They also shared that the game will be headed to the Nintendo Switch (as well as PS4 and XBOX One) on April 4th.
