Below are the hardware sales totals for April in Japan. PSP has a solid month making it the top selling hardware by a long shot and the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo’s innovative 3-Dimensional handheld came in 2nd. PS3 had an impressive month with the Wii and DSi LL rounding out the top 5. Check out the rest of the list below:

Gears of War 3 has to be one of my top most anticipated games for this year and I throughly enjoyed the beta. Check out some leaked campaign footage above and marvel at the incredible graphics.

Gears of War 3 has a release date of September 20, 2011.

My Thursday night ritual typically consists of Game Nights with some of my best buds and tonight’s “weapon of choice” (since the Gears 3 beta is officially closed) will be Halo Reach.

After launching Brink to mixed reviews, Splash Damage and Bethesda are refining the class-based multiplayer shooter with new updates and add-ons. Writing on the Bethesda blog, a rep from the two companies revealed that the game’s first downloadable add-on — comprising additional maps and other “new content” — will be available for free at an unspecified date in June.

Great news for Brink owners. More as it develops.
