Here is a Xbox 360 sales update for Microsoft’s 2nd home console. Microsoft sold 1.3 million Xbox 360 units in the past three months, helping the platform’s total install base reach 77.2 million across the world since the console launched in November 2005.

The 1.3 million consoles sold during the quarter is down 9 percent year-over-year but Microsoft has to be pleased with these numbers.

The company announced this new milestone today as part of its latest financial report today for the three months ended March 31. Microsoft’s Xbox Live service now has over 46 million members and saw in increase in sales year over year.

Microsoft has just announced the dates and prices of its Summer of Arcade line-up set to kick off in less than a month. The summer of arcade titles are always good for gaming and starts off with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD.

Check out the dates and prices below:

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD – July 18th – 1,200 MS points
Wreckateer – July 25th – 800 MS points
Deadlight – August1st – 1,200 MS points
Hybrid – August 8th – 1,200 MS points
Dust: An Elysian Tail – August 15th – 1,200 MS Points

From what I have read, people don’t like the way this Fable game is presented but I think just the opposite. I think this has the potential to truly be a diamond on the rough and will be downloaded by yours truly when it is released Wednesday.

XBOX 360 gamers take notice; Joe Danger: Special Edition has been revealed for XBLA. Hello Games has confirmed rumours that it’s PSN hit Joe Danger is officially headed to Xbox Live. Check out the quote below regarding the announcement:

“You’re Joe Danger, the world’s most determined stuntman. Race, ride and defy death over 100 eye-popping levels. And introducing the insane Laboratory exclusively for Xbox with more than 50 new levels!”

Apparently the game is coming sooner rather than later so get those Microsoft points ready.

Quick Update: The new Sesame Street: Once Upon A Monster will be releasing a demo on XBOX Live and will arrive September 27th. The highly anticipated XBOX title looks very interesting and may be a bit of a sleeper it when it’s released.

I think I found a new game that I am crazy excited about and that is “The Splatters” for Xbox Live arcade. I LOVE the trailer and I instantly LOVE everything about this game (this game has piqued my interest a ton, in case you couldn’t tell)… It looks awesome and I can’t wait to hear more. Enjoy the trailer and let me know what you all think.

I have never even heard about this game until now…. Sweet!

They Bleed Pixels has officially piqued my interest and I am very eager to hear more about this promising title. I had no idea what to expect but watching this video certainly has me wanting to hear more about the game. It looks like Ms. ‘Splosion Man, the sequel to the fantastic ‘Splosion Man, will buck the fifteen buck trend on Xbox Live Arcade. Ms. ‘Splosion Man will be priced at a respectable $10 and is a bargain for XBOX Live owners. The deserving sequel is set to land on Xbox Live on July 13.

Take Arms is a 2D multiplayer class-based shooter in development for Xbox Live Indie Games. Set in the near future, the world’s two remaining super powers are at war, and both sides are nearly decimated. Take a peak at the trailer above and let me know what you think.
