The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has already managed to break several records despite being released a week ago. The title has been gaining a ton of perfect scores from a number of different publications and 40 different sites submitted their review to metacritic praising the game. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched worldwide on March 3 and is available for Nintendo Switch and Wii U. The game has already become Nintendo’s most popular release and will no doubt become one of the best titles to ever grace any console.
I am thoroughly enjoying my time with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, so be sure to stop back for my official review.

Gamestop has gone on record stating that the Nintendo Switch was a massive success as a new console launch. GameStop Senior Director of Merchandising, Eric Bright, has given his views on how the launch went up and down GameStop’s throughout North America. Here is what he had to say regarding the systems launch:
“Stores across the country last night were packed with customers who couldn’t wait to get their hands on the brand new Nintendo Switch. We even had customers lining up as early as yesterday morning so that they could be one of the lucky ones to score one of the additional units for our walk-in customers. This is one of the strongest and most successful gaming console launches for GameStop in the last several years. For those fans who are still looking for the Nintendo Switch, don’t worry–we’re getting more. And, we’re pretty sure that there are a lot of gaming fans who pulled all-nighters last night playing their new Switch, and who also called in sick to work today with ‘game-fluenza’ just to stay home and play even more.”
Great news for Nintendo. Keep it here as we give you up to the date Nintendo Switch information. Stay tuned!

SuperData Research has gone on record stating that Nintendo’s latest home console, Nintendo Switch, could go on to sell over 5 million units in 2017 alone. The company also believes that it will be the devout Nintendo fans buying the console initially but it could well open up to mainstream appeal due to its innovative nature. Here is what they had to say regarding the system:
“The biggest challenge for Nintendo is to convince console gamers to purchase the Switch as a second device, as many have already committed to a PlayStation 4 (53.4 million installed base, worldwide) or Xbox One (26 million).
“Asking $300 for a new console without a bundled game is a comparatively higher barrier to entry for consumers, considering that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are already discounted and come with a free game.”
Sounds good to me. I can see it happening pretty easily actually. They have already announced that their initial 2 million should be quite scarce…. Only 3 million units to shift from now until the end of the year!

It seems pretty straight forward, but it’s always nice to see any company make their products as approachable as possible. I think this is a major missed opportunity for the company and I hope we hear more regarding the subject soon. The Nintendo Switch will launch next week and we will have full coverage for the new system.
