Kamek is headed to Mario Tennis sports fans… And you can check out the trailer for him above. I have yet to purchase Mario Tennis but every time we go to the store (Best Buy or Walmart), we typically fire this up and have a blast. Mario Tennis launched last year for the Nintendo Switch and seen some very nice updates. I think it’s only a matter of time before this game is added to our growing Switch collection. Check it out.
Kamek will join the roster in April.
A final release date for SteamWorld Quest: Hand Of Gilgamech for Nintendo Switch has been given. The game will release for Switch owners on April 25th and will set you back $24.99. I think the game looks pretty interesting and I can’t wait to read more hands-on impressions for it before the release. Here is some information on the upcoming eShop game:
SteamWorld Quest is the first RPG from Image & Form, and it is switching things up with card-based battles where you build, craft and upgrade your heroes’ decks.
In SteamWorld Quest, you lead a party of aspiring heroes who take on whatever threat comes their way by crafting your own deck of cards—choosing from over 100 unique punch-cards! What awaits you is a luscious treasure chest filled with gold, dragons, vivid worlds, magic, knights in shining armor as well as XP, turn-based combat and all the usuals that RPG fans love! The mix of traditional fantasy and bantering steam-driven robots makes for an unforgettable experience with lots of laughs.
The Wall Street Journal is once again sharing the rumor that there are two new Switch models incoming and these rumored systems could hit in a few short months. The rumored Nintendo Switch Pro (or whatever they’re going to call it) and the Nintendo Switch Portable may be coming sometime in Summer. Nintendo has obviously not shared anything officially BUT it may be only a matter of time now. I recently discussed this (again) on my podcast as well as recorded this quick video discussing this rumor.
Check it out below and let me know if you think when Nintendo will announce these rumored systems. Check out my latest YouTube upload below:
Want to know more about the upcoming Nintendo Labo VR kit for Switch? Nintendo has just uploaded an all new overview video showcasing everything that you can do with the upcoming Labor kit. I think that this Labo VR kit could be the biggest thing for this toy-con series (franchise….. what should we call it) and may help Labo reach the masses. I am a bit surprised that Nintendo has been actively supporting this as much as they have and I cannot wait until this arrives.
Check it out everyone. Let us know if you plan on purchasing this when it’s released.
One of my favorite Nintendo DS titles ever may be headed to the Nintendo Switch. New rumors are now suggesting that Professor Layton And The Curious Village is indeed coming to Nintendo Switch and I am HYPED if this rumor turns out to be true. G4K have actually announced on their website (which you can still see as of this writing) that they have been working on localising Professor Layton and the Curious Village for the Nintendo Switch. It appears as though there might be more of the Professor headed to the Switch soon as well, so we will keep you updated. Nothing has been officially announced from the big N, but I think it’s only a matter of time.
More as this develops.
The good guys over at GameXplain got their mitts on the Nintendo Switch version for Cuphead and were nice enough to upload and share this video for everyone to check out. The once-XBOX One exclusive is now headed to the Nintendo Switch on April 18th and gamers can pre-download the game as we speak. I think this looks OUTSTANDING and I cannot wait to get my hands on the game when it’s released for Switch next month. Check out the video below:

Enter the Gungeon
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
Nintendo held an all new Nintendo Indie-Direct and focused on some amazing content that is headed to the system. I see a number of games on these lists that I still have yet to play, so I better load up on my eShop credit soon. What do you guys think?
It was revealed today that Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the Necrodancer ft. The Legend of Zelda will indeed be headed to the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019. This unexpected announcement was saved for the very end of today’s Nindie Direct and surprised just about everyone watching. Nintendo licensing IP’s to an indie developer? Am I dreaming?!
Anyway- I have never played Crypt of the Necrodancer but this certainly has caught my attention. Well played Nintendo, well played! Check out the trailer below:
In case you missed this mornings news, Cuphead, the formally XBOX One exclusive, is headed to the Nintendo Switch! This amazing news was shared during a Nintendo Direct that focused on Indie titles headed to the system. Cuphead is a classic run-and-gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.
Looks awesome to me. I cannot wait for this one on the Switch. Who thinks it will outsell the XBOX One version?
Nintendo has announced that an all new Nindies showcase will be hitting on Wednesday, March 20th. The new show will be roughly 30 minutes of information on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch so be sure to tune in and find out what indie titles are headed to the system. The Switch really has become a haven for indie titles and I am very excited to see what’s coming next. I am imagining that Castle Crashers will be there as well as some nice surprises. I can’t wait for Wednesday.
