Sony Announces Price for PS Vita (formally NGP)

Sony has officially announced the price point for their newly named handheld console PS Vita (formally NGP). The new handheld will retail for $249.99 and $299.99 for the 3G version.

Uncharted, ModNation Racers, LittleBigPlanet and a bevy of other titles are headed to the system and will be released this year. I can’t wait.

E3 2011: Sony’s NGP officially named Playstation Vita

Sony has just OFFICIALLY announced that the name of their next generation portable will be Playstation Vita (as rumors previously suggested).

The 3G version of the handheld will be partnered with ATT.

The headline says it all my friends, Sony has announced that Bioshock is headed to NGP. No details have been given and it is still in the early stages of development but the franchise is headed to Sony’s new portable.

NGP (PSP 2) to be called PS Vita

Consider this one as a rumor for now but take a gander at the following images and notice what name that is next to the NGP. Will PS Vita be the final name of Sony’s forthcoming handheld? Only time will tell but the pictures below look pretty convincing, don’t they?
