Fable Legends Will be Free to Play

This just in, the upcoming XBOX One title, Fable Legends, will be free to play when it releases later this year. In Fable Legends, whether you’re adventuring as a Hero or smiting as a Villain, you will earn Silver to spend in-game. And everything that affects makes your characters or your creatures more powerful can be bought with the silver that you earn.

You’ll also be able to buy gold with real-world money, which can then be used to purchase many of the items that are also available for Silver.

Sounds pretty nifty to me. How do you guys feel about this news?

Great news for Dragon Quest fans, the PS4 title will be localized. Here is th description from Square Enix:

In Dragon Quest Heroes, players must rise up against insurmountable odds, challenging swarms of enemies and conquering gigantic monsters. Dragon Quest Heroes comes to the PlayStation 4 system in beautiful high-definition graphics, filled with characters and monsters designed by world-renowned artist Akira Toriyama.

Both Yuji Horii, director and creator of Dragon Quest, and Koichi Sugiyama, the composer closely tied to the series since its first installment and creator of countless memorable musical masterpieces, are closely involved in bringing this title to life. Furthermore, ?-Force (Omega Force) from Koei Tecmo Games – the team that has created numerous popular action game series – is also taking part in its development.

Good stuff indeed. I think Dragon Quest Heroes looks pretty decent and I can’t wait to try it out. What do you guys think?

Unannounced Disney Title For Wii U Displayed

Take a gander at the image above. The image is from an unannounced Wii U title that is in development from Disney. Coming from Cary Mayle, an artist working on the project:

These medieval fantasy characters are from an upcoming game for the Wii U (shown with permission). The character designs are by me (with the exception of the dwarf and dark skull knight). Environmental art and design created by me as well. They are not shown, but have a small sample of them with the character stands.

This is a nice little surprise, don’t you think?

Nintendo Minute – Kirby and the Rainbow Curse Let’s Clay

The good people over at Nintendo Minute recently sat down with the recently released Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and gave us 15 glorious minutes of multiplayer footage. The game looks so awesome, and the clay animation art style gives Kirby a unique look. I can’t get over how neat this game looks and I really need to get my hands on it.

Check out the video and let us know if you purchased the game. Enjoy.
