The highly anticipated The Last Guardian has been slightly delayed. The game is still set to come out in 2016, it just will happen in December now. Here is the official word from Sony:
The Last Guardian development team is fast approaching major milestones in production and has made the tough decision to delay the release of The Last Guardian a few weeks. The Last Guardian will launch on December 6, 2016.
Fumito Ueda (gen Design) and Japan Studio have a wonderful vision for The Last Guardian’s touching, emotional journey of friendship and trust, and we want to deliver the most polished experience possible for our fans who have supported us for so long. A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.
Our development continues to push itself to the fullest and we look forward to revealing new content toward launch.
We appreciate your continued support.
I really hope that they get this one right! The Last Guardian has been in development hell and it’s nice to see that the game is finally releasing. Fingers crossed over here…

Take a look at the image above as that is what will be gracing the PS4 games that have enhanced PS4 Pro features for Sony’s newly announced system. The image will appear directly on the boxart of any PS4 game that uses PS4 Pro features. Sony has also shared that the PS4 Pro will NOT be a replacement for the PS4 system but coincide together as one PS4 family. The system will be able to output games in 4K and will release this November. PS4 Pro will retail for $399.
Nintendo Minute has posted another video and this one showcases the upcoming Wii U title, Paper Mario: Color Splash. Fans who have yet to play the incredible Overwatch game, this is your weekend! Blizzard is offering players a free weekend to test out their amazing team-based FPS Overwatch so download it now! The game is outstanding to say the least and offers so much depth for each one of their characters that should keep you busy for many HOURS. Want to know what the retail box for the PS4 Pro will look like? Well take a gander at the image above as this is the final box art for the newly announced system. The PS4 Pro packs a 1TB hard drive with improved specs all around. The system will retail for $399 and is set to launch later this year. The PS4 Pro was officially revealed yesterday during the Playstation meeting. Although the system cannot play 4K Blu ray movies, it sure packs a punch when it comes to video games. The system is designed purely for gaming and it should be interesting to see how things pan out when it’s released.
Here is a DROP DEAD GORGEOUS trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn on the newly announced PS4 Pro. Horizon Zero Dawn was a HUGE highlight for Sony during their Playstation meeting and will now come in beautiful 4K resolution. Horizon Zero Dawn is set to launch in early 2017 and we think it will go down as one of PS4’s best.
Check it out and let us know what you think. Enjoy.
Following the announcement of PS4 Pro, XBOX took to Twitter to fire some shots at Sony’s newly announced home console. The not-so-cryptic tweet touted that it’s XBOX One S starts at $299 and the system has the ability to play and stream 4K content (PS4 Pro cannot do these AND is $399).
I have to say, I am very impressed with the PS4 Pro but this tweet will no doubt cause some controversy. Ever since both systems were released, Sony has enjoyed a healthy lead in terms of sales but XBOX seems like it will not be going down without a fight.
More on the PS4 Pro and the XBOX One S soon… Keep it here!
