Pokemon GO STORMS The App Store

169

In case you missed it, Pokemon GO is now available for mobile devices in the United States. Chances are if you’re reading this post, you have already downloaded the game as the title has already hit #1 on the app store market. Pokemon GO is a mobile title designed to have gamers explore their surroundings and catch the cute little Pokemon directly on your mobile device. I already knew this one was going to be a hit but I can’t wait to see how things pan out for the game in the coming months.

The game was created by developer Niantic in partnership with Nintendo and The Pokemon Co. Nintendo has a large stake in Pokemon and works closely on the flagship franchise.

Nintendo has to be pleased and will no doubt be raking in the cash once the dust settles on this one. I plan on downloading Pokemon GO as soon as I finish this post so be sure to follow me on Twitter for my impressions.

Game on! Did you download Pokemon GO?!

Nintendo Files Patent For New Single Screen Device

Nintendo has filed a new patent for a single screened handheld device, presumably for the handheld portion for the NX. Twitter user ZhugeEX spotted the new trademark filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The patent describes a “handheld information processing apparatus” that features a single screen which comes with a touchscreen. The device features built-in speakers and a vibration system to provide a “higher sense of immersion.”

Interesting to say the least. Will Nintendo break away from its two screened design? What do you guys think?

Next Game Informer To Feature New Zelda And God of War

The upcoming edition of Game Informer magazine will feature two of E3’s biggest games; The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild and the all new God of War game. Both games made a huge splash at this year’s E3 and we can’t wait to get the magazine in the mail. The covers themselves are pretty attractive and I am hoping I get the one that features Link (although I won’t be too disappointed if I end up with Kratos).

Check out the magazine covers and let us know which one you want.
