Survey Monkey had the following to share regarding Miitomo’s daily revenue:
Making it rain – $280,000 per week
Monetization has also increased steadily and we estimate that the game is now making $40,000 combined per day across iOS and Android. Roughly 80% of the revenue is from iOS with Android only contributing 20%.
On a per-user basis, we estimate the app has an ARPDAU (Average Revenue Per Daily Active User) of 3-4 cents. While low compared to mid-core games like Supercell’s Clash Royale, this is actually a healthy number for a more casual game like Miitomo, especially early on.
Miitomo, Nintendo’s first official foray into the smartphone market, has seen tremendous success thus far for the company and we don’t see it slowing down. Perennially, I have enjoyed the “social network” and can understand why people have flocked to the game due to its wide appeal. I will be interested to see how Nintendo’s future iOS and Android releases will fair as this is only the beginning for the big N.
Stay tuned for more Miitomo news. Have you downloaded Miitomo yet?
The new Ratchet and Clank hits PS4 this week (tomorrow to be precise) so be sure to check out a new video showcasing the frame rate. The new Ratchet and Clank looks like a Pixar video come to life and will only retail for $39.99! I am hoping to scrounge up the money for this one as I am a huge fan of the series.

Set 25 Years after Gears of War 3, spurred by a series of strange disappearances, JD Fenix must embrace his father’s legacy and battle a terrifying new enemy. The 60 second spot is outstanding and tugs on the heart strings a bit. XBOX One owners will no doubt be waiting for this one with open arms come October.
We expect a lot of Gears of War 4 news to be incoming so stay tuned. Gears of War 4 will no doubt have a huge presence at this year’s E3 in June.

Great news for Wii U owners; it looks as though there will be a physical release for the popular Minecraft game for Nintendo Wii U. Up until now players had to download the title but it appears as though you will be able to head to retail and purchase a physical copy of the game. Although no specific release date has been given, it may be appearing sooner rather than later.
In just 4 days, Miitomo, Nintendo’s first official mobile social media game, has been downloaded over 1.6 million times in the US alone. Miitomo was released on March 30th and is available for iOS and Android. 51% of Miitomo’s install base comes from the US, more than any other territory. Other top regions were Great Britain, France, Germany, and Canada.
Crazy stuff and we can’t wait to see what happens next for Miitomo. I am certainly enjoying it thus far.
Here is the official TV commercial for Star Fox Zero. The Wii U exclusive hits the system this month and has been coming along rather nicely since its reveal. I am very eager to read the first review on the game and I hope to get my hands on a copy when it’s released.
Star Fox Zero is set to hit on April 22nd. Check out the commercial above and let us know if this catches your fancy.
