Nintendo is planning the digital distribution of their retail titles this fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2013. This news comes from Nintendo’s recent financial statements. Here is the quote:

“Forecasted sales units of Nintendo 3DS software and Wii U software… include the quantity of the packaged software by means of digital distribution.” Nintendo has not traditionally included digital sales in their software sales numbers but is now making an exception for downloads that have a corresponding packaged version.

It is nice to see Nintendo FINALLY embracing “current technology”. In my opinion, I think that the majority of gamers will still prefer physical copies of titles but this is a major draw for publishers.

I fully understand that gameplay is far better than graphics but OH MAN THIS GAME LOOKS OUTSTANDING! Crysis 3 is impressive to say the absolute least and should be a big hit come next year. If you have a couple of minutes, be sure to watch this graphically impressive trailer.

This just in, Activision and Treyarch have revealed that they will be showing off the first footage of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Tuesday May 1st. I hope you all like basketball as The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 reveal will take place during the basketball playoffs on TNT.

Here is the first official TV commercial for the highly anticipated Max Payne 3. The game is looking amazing and I will be eager to see if Mr. Payne can hold his own in the video game market.
