Introducing High Dynamic Range on Xbox One S

Microsoft has released an all new video showcasing the amazing capabilities of its XBOX One S. The new Xbox One S is the only console with 4K Blu-ray, 4K video streaming, and HDR.

Experience richer, more luminous colors in games like Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3. With a higher contrast ratio between lights and darks, High Dynamic Range technology brings out the true visual depth of your games and 4k entertainment.

This video is a clear poke at the newly release PS4 Pro so it’s going to be interesting to see how everyone responds with this video.

Masahiro Sakurai Working on All New Project

Legendary developer Masahiro Sakurai, the man behind the Super Smash Bros franchise, has confirmed that he is currently working on a brand new project. Since Nintendo has an all new system coming out in March, one can only assume the game is for the upcoming Nintendo Switch platform. Details regarding this new project are scarce (which is to be expected) but we are happy beyond belief to hear this news. The fact that this states that the project is brand new has us extra excited.

More as it develops.

Super Mario Run Release Date And Price Revealed

Nintendo has announced the final release date for Super Mario Run for iOS. The highly anticipated title will release on December 15th and will run $9.99. Nintendo first showcased the mobile game during one of Apple’s event’s and it was pretty sweet to see Shiggy on stage with Apple’s big names. Here is what they had to say regarding the game:

“The wait is almost over for a Super Mario game that can be played on mobile devices,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Developed under the direction of Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario Run brings a new take on the series’ beloved action-platforming gameplay to iPhone and iPad for the first time.”

Super Mario Run is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 8.0 or later. Count us in.

One of my favorite segments that the late night talk show host Connan O’Brien does is one entitled “Clueless Gamer”. The latest episode features the upcoming RPG Final Fantasy XV and, as usual, it’s pretty funny. Check it out and let us know if you found it amusing.

Nintendo Switch; How Will Nintendo Keep up With Demand?!

In case you missed my latest and greatest Nintendo Switch video, check it out above! With the NES classic selling out and the release of the Nintendo Switch approaching in March, we explore how Nintendo plans to keep up with the demand for their new system. The Nintendo Switch looks like it’s going to have an exceptional release window and we think the big N has a trick or two up their sleeves still for the console so it will be interesting to see how things turn out next year.

If you’re feeling awesome, feel free to comment and give this video a thumbs up! Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel here.

Will The Nintendo Switch Cost $249?

The Nintendo Switch’s price might have just been leaked way by the Canadian website for Toys “R” Us. The popular toy retailer listed the Nintendo Switch to “weigh in” around $329.99 Canadian dollars, which roughly equates to $245 – a price that could be rounded to $249 and possibly €249 for Europe. While there is no confirmation on this (we actually think there could be multiple Sku’s due to bundles), this price point certainly does have a nice ring to it. At $249, the Nintendo Switch may be hard to deny when it’s released in March.
