Above is a picture os the Amiibo figures that are launching in September. GameStop has announced that they will soon be taking preorders on the popular figures and will be taking money for the classic three pack containing R.O.B., Mr Game and Watch and Duck Hunt. The Amiibo craze has yet to die down here in America so get a good look at them now because you may not get your hands on them (sadly)…

Nintendo has announced the official release date for their upcoming 3DS title The Legend of Zelda Triforce Heroes. The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes launches for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on Oct. 23. One of Nintendo’s biggest critical hits at this summer’s E3 video game trade show, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes lets up to three players team up locally, via Download Play with one game card or online using a wireless Internet connection to cooperatively explore inventive dungeons and battle bosses.
I had the chance to play the game at my local Best Buy when they were showing it during E3 and walked away very impressed with the game.
Looks like we won’t have to wait long now gamers. Are you going to pick it up?
The birds have landed again my friends! Angry Birds 2 has finally hit the app store and my son and I can’t get enough of it. I know these lovable characters have stormed nearly ever facet of media but a good game is a good game and the Angry Birds series is awesome! Improving on the original in nearly every way, Angry Birds 2 has been a blast thus far and we only just begun (expect a TON of updates including more levels). There’s also more good news my friends, soon you will be able to play this one in your mobile browser!
With new towers to topple, pigs to pop and missiles to master, Rovio is thrilled to announce the launch of Angry Birds 2, the first sequel to the most downloaded mobile game series of all time.
While retaining the much-loved slingshot format, the visuals and gameplay of Angry Birds 2 have been overhauled from the ground up, with multiple stages in each level and spectacular new spells – including blizzards, magic ducks and even hot chili peppers – to wield against the pigs, rock the Destruct-O-Meter and earn even more birds. Fans also can challenge other gamers worldwide and, for the first time, choose their own fowl to fling.
Alongside returning characters Red, Chuck, Bomb and the infamous King Pig, joining the flock is Silver, a dazzling but strange young bird rescued from Pig City. Growing up in pig captivity, she has acquired porcine habits and an odd sense of humor. But her incredible flying skills – and unique understanding of piggy ways – make her a cheeky and powerful new member of the flock.
We don’t think Angry Birds is going away anytime soon so we my-as-well embrace this pop culture breaking series and check it out.
Here is the Halo 5 Guardians Limited Edition Xbox One trailer for everyone to watch. This special edition console was announced during Microsoft’s Gamescom press conference and comes out the day after my birthday. In my humble opinion, this is one of the sweetest-looking, special edition consoles ever and may be hard to ignore when it’s released. Looks like yours truly will be taking the XBOX One plunge come October 20th.
Check out the video and let us know what you think.
The good people at GamingBoltLive put together an amazing video comparison for Uncharted and you should all check it out. I highly suggest you bump the video up to its highest setting as it looks pretty remarkable in motion. The PS4 version is looking crisper, sharper and has a better image quality compared to its PS3 counterpart. This is one of the defining scenes of the title as well so be sure to give the video to watch.
Microsoft has officially announced that Halo Wars 2 will be coming to XBOX One and Windows 10 in late 2016. The news was the closer to the XBOX press conference in Gamescom. Although nothing was shown but a video trailer, it looked impressive (as expected) and we expect to hear more in the coming months.
Square Enix has announced Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on PS4 and PC in 2016.
The company has confirmed the PC version of the game will arrive in “early 2016”, while console exclusivity will last for a year. This means Rise of the Tomb Raider won’t land on PS4 until “Holiday 2016”, as the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions are due for release on November 10, 2015.
