During its financial results briefing, Nintendo announced that it will not host a “large-scale presentation” at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Company president Satoru Iwata states Nintendo is instead planning several “smaller events” for the expo that will focus on software for the U.S. market. Among them are closed hands-on events aimed at American distributors and the Western media. Here is what Mr. Iwata had to say regarding the subject:
The Rayman Legends Release Date For North America and Europe has been announced, and it’s coming sooner than expected.
Rayman Legends, the beautiful platforming title that is headed to Wii U, PS3 and XBOX 360, will be available slightly earlier than expected. Ubisoft announced today that its platformer will be hitting North America on August 27 followed by Europe on August 30. Rayman Legends was previously expected in September but has now been bumped up to a late August release. The Rayman Legends demo will also be making an appearance on the Wii U eShop channel sometime in the very near future and I cannot wait to get my hands on hit.
Great news for eager Rayman fans.

The retailer listed the game for Xbox 360 and PS3 this afternoon, along with the alleged box art. It has since pulled the Xbox 360 listing, however.
Infinity Ward’s logo is featured prominently on the box art, suggesting the Modern Warfare developer is back for Ghosts, and also appears to show a character putting on the mask worn by Ghost in Modern Warfare 2.
Call of Duty: Ghosts has previously been rumoured to be the name of this year’s Call of Duty title and this seems to confirm it. Expect news regarding the next Call of Duty in the very near future. Stay tuned.
