Nintendo Switch has officially become the fastest-selling home video game system in U.S. history. The system is already home to some of the best titles around and the future looks bright indeed. With heavy hitters such as Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Zelda, Doom and more already on the system, we cannot wait to see what 2018 will bring.

“Fans across the country have experienced the joy of playing their favorite games at home or on the go,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s President and COO. “Now that many more people have received Nintendo Switch systems for the holidays, we look forward to bringing them fun new surprises in 2018 and beyond.”

It’s always great to see HUGE sales from a well-deserving title and we can’t wait to see what happens next with the popular title.

Could PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Head to Switch?

If the companies CEO has anything to say about it, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds could indeed head to Nintendo’s Switch console. Here is what he had to say regarding the situation:

“The final goal would be to launch the title on every platform.”

“We need to think about other platforms after evaluating and completing the Xbox One version first.”

I have yet to experience the game, BUT do to its popularity with the gaming community, it would be a big win for Nintendo IF the game landed on the system. I personally do not think the game will hit the Switch but we will see…
