The franchise continues its tremendous success and I hope that we see a Nintendo Switch version when they fully showcase the system in January.

Check out this all new Mario Party Star Rush Trailer for the Nintendo 3DS. I love the “There’s no play like it” slogan and it’s nice to see that they are continuing the advertising gig. It will be interesting to see whether it traditions to the NX (if Nintendo ever decides to announce the system). Mario Party: Star Rush has over 50 mini-games and compatible with certain Amiibos to unlock useful items, advantages over the AI and stamps to collect in the game.

During today’s major 3DS-Focused Nintendo Direct, the company announced that Super Mario Maker will be headed to the 3DS. The game is set to release on December 2nd and will take the Wii U fun to the portable realm. Nintendo announced a slew of new 3DS news and it’s truly supporting the handheld for the long term. Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS seems like it would be a natural fit and making levels on the go should be very easy with the system.
Great news Nintendo…. Now let’s hear more about your home console plans… NX NX NX!!!
Nintendo of America has confirmed today during the 3DS-focused Nintendo Direct, that Yoshi’s Woolly World will be headed to the Nintendo 3DS. The colorful platforming game that graced the Wii U is now headed to the popular handheld and we couldn’t be more excited. Nintendo really showcased how much they are supporting its dominate handheld and we are very happy with this news (although SOME Wii U love would’ve been nice).
To celebrate the released of the game, there will be a Poochy amiibo figure launching alongside the game next year. Looks like 2017 is going to be a great year for the 3DS.
