It has been revealed that Nintendo has spent an estimated $4.5 Million dollars on advertising for the month of August. If this turns out to be true, it would be more money than Xbox and Playstation. Playstation campaigns amounted to a total estimated figure of $2.5m and Xbox at $1.5m.
It will be interesting to see how things ramp up in the coming Holiday season as the release of XBOX One X is fast approaching while Sony will be pushing its hardware to the fullest. Nintendo has gone on record stating that it may be hard to find a Switch this Holiday season so let’s all just wait and see how this pans out. It has been nice to see a ton of advertisements from Nintendo products as the Wii U didn’t receive this much love when it was available.

Seemingly out of nowhere, Nintendo has announced an all new Nintendo 2DS XL… Strangely I really like it too…
So apparently Nintendo plans to pump out their handheld lineup of systems for the foreseeable future and this all New Nintendo 2DS XL will be coming out in July. The system sports all the nifty features of the New 3DS XL (Amiibo Support, C-Stick etc) but will display the games in 2D. Think “New DS XL”.
I am very eager to hear what you guys have to say and I hope this story gets some comments. The more I watch the trailer the more this “makes sense” to me…
