Nintendo Spends $4.5m On TV Ads In August

It has been revealed that Nintendo has spent an estimated $4.5 Million dollars on advertising for the month of August. If this turns out to be true, it would be more money than Xbox and Playstation. Playstation campaigns amounted to a total estimated figure of $2.5m and Xbox at $1.5m.

It will be interesting to see how things ramp up in the coming Holiday season as the release of XBOX One X is fast approaching while Sony will be pushing its hardware to the fullest. Nintendo has gone on record stating that it may be hard to find a Switch this Holiday season so let’s all just wait and see how this pans out. It has been nice to see a ton of advertisements from Nintendo products as the Wii U didn’t receive this much love when it was available.
