Apparently the upcoming Wii U brawler, Pokken Tournament, will be available with all Amiibo. We knew that the game would work with the Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card but what we didn’t know that the title will work with ALL Amiibo. Amiibo characters will unlock accessories for in game items.
Here is the quote regarding the news:
Compatible with all amiibo accessories unlocking in-game items.
Can you imagine if the recently released Xenoblad Chronicles X featured Amiibo support? I didn’t know I wanted the game to support Nintendo’s popular figures but one glance at today’s image of the day has me reeling…. It would’ve been incredible if the Wii U exclusive supported Amiibo’s.
Check out the image and let me know what you think. Enjoy.
The official packaging for two upcoming Amiibo’s have been revealed and you can check them out above. The Ryu Amiibo is very reminiscent of the original Mario one and Roy features a sleek green look. Take a gander above and let us know if you plan on picking up either of these new Amiibo’s.
Nintendo has put out a new North American Amiibo Holiday Commercial for everyone to watch. The 30 second spot showcases the popular toys from Nintendo and will no doubt boost sales of the popular figures (we if they needed help). The new ad mentions the figures’ compatibility with both the New Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, but only begins to discuss a few of amiibo’s many features.
If you have 30 seconds, give the commercial a watch.

It seems as though the restock of rare Amiibo figures has hit the retail chain Best Buy hard. I personally took this picture at a local Best Buy and it seems as though its a nation wide thing. When pressed, one of the employees of the popular retail location stated that they had a massive restock on Nintendo’s popular figures and is evident in the picture above. The other side of the display featured a bevy of Dark Pit, Greeninja, Zero Suit Samus and more.
If you’re looking for Amiibo, make sure you head to your local Best Buy.

Get ready Amiibo fans because we may have some insight as to who the next Target exclusive Amiibo will be. Apparently Dr. Mario will be Target’s next exclusive Amiibo figure. Target hasn’t officially confirmed that it’ll be the only one carrying Dr. Mario, but it appeared in its inventory system when it hasn’t shown up in any other stores’. If we can go on past instances where this happened, you can almost bet on Dr. Mario showing his face only in Target stores.
