Creative Director Michel Ancel shows a behind the scenes look at the first in-engine demo for Beyond Good and Evil 2 that was shown at E3 2017. The games trailer was something special and we can’t wait to hear more. Here is some more info regarding the game coming from Ubisoft:
Journey to System 3, for the prequel to one of Ubisoft’s most beloved games! Fight alongside unforgettable characters in a stunning new solar system, as you struggle for freedom and the right to determine your own fate among the stars. Play the adventure by yourself or with friends in a vast and seamless online playground.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is the spiritual successor to the cult classic, a prequel that will transport players into a profoundly multicultural world, capturing the spirit of the original with grandiose decors and intense dramas that play out across a vast universe. Through the Space Monkey Program, Ubisoft Montpellier will be developing the game alongside its community of fans.
System 3 has become the center of interstellar trade and colonization in the Milky Way of the 24th century, thanks to the creation of Hybrid slaves. While private enterprises fight over resources and power, the first colonists weave together the rich and diverse spiritual and cultural heritages of Old Earth to give meaning to their existence. In this new era of piracy, we will rise from lowly pirate to legendary captain at the helm of massive star-faring vessels, adventuring alongside crews of colorful characters to fight for freedom and the right to determine our own fate among the stars!
Don’t look now but Ubisoft’s incredible-looking Beyond Goos And Evil 2 may be headed to the Nintendo Switch. The tweet (shown above) clearly states that the anticipated title is not only headed to XBOX One, PS4 and PC but to the Nintendo Switch system as well. Mark this one down as a rumor and as of this writing we still have yet to confirm what systems the game will land on but this tweet sure holds promise for Switch owners. Ubisoft dazzled fans by showcasing an INSANE trailer for the game and I was HYPED.
Here is the world premier for Beyond Good and Evil 2. Although it’s a cinematic trailer, this HAS to be one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen. Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been a long time coming and we are thrilled it’s still in development. No other details have been given about the game but that’s not stopping me from wanting more! I really hope we hear more about Beyond Good and Evil 2 in the coming days.
Beyond Good And Evil 2 is apparently now in “pre-production” according to Michel Ancel’s latest teaser image for the upcoming game. Ubisoft has also gone on record stating that they have “no further comment” regarding the game so one can assume (and I am assuming) that the game is most definitely headed to the NX. Maybe I am reaching a bit but if Ubisoft can’t say anything “as of right now”, it really seems like it’s looking to be a NX title. Ubisoft has recently gone on record praising the upcoming Nintendo system and I am really thinking that this is going to become official very soon.
Check out the new Beyond Good And Evil 2 teaser image above and let us know if you are excited about the game.
Oh that Michel Ancel and his teases. Ancel has once again posted another teaser image of what appears to be Beyond Good And Evil 2 related. Although we have not seen or heard of the game lately, it appears as though Ubisoft has been teasing the title more and more lately and we couldn’t be more excited. Beyond Good And Evil 2 has been rumored to be headed to Nintendo’s next home console, codenamed NX, so as soon as we hear something, we will be reporting it.
Michel Ancel is teasing that we may be hearing something soon from the mysterious sequel to the beloved Beyond Good and Evil game. Beyond Good And Evil 2 was shown WAY back but has since vanished from Ubisofts current showing of games. I loved the fact the Ancel and company were going to revisit this much deserving series but we haven’t heard anything in a very long time… With Ubisoft praising the upcoming Nintendo console, codenamed NX, AND with Nintendo (hopefully) revealing the system soon, one would assume that the game would appear on the system in some sort of fashion. I have actually reported some rumors of Nintendo funding the project and I am sold that this game is headed to the system. It would be a major win for the big N if they can score a exclusive like this (Bayonetta 2 anyone) and would be a big part of the NX’s library.
What do you guys think? Am I reaching here or will Beyond Good And Evil 2 be on NX?
Here’s a nice juicy rumor for everyone to chew on… Apparently the much anticipated (and much delayed) Beyond Good and Evil 2 is indeed headed to Nintendo’s next system, Nintendo NX. According to this new rumor, Nintendo has stepped in and is helping fund the project, similar to what they did for Bayonetta 2.
The rumour was submitted to Destructoid, with an initial source as Alexander Maier, a writer for Dual Pixels that published Geno’s NX rumours last weekend. Alexander was provided with a large document from Geno that was then passed on to Destructoid to assess. Destructoid also reached out to a second source who gave similar information with some of the bullet pointed information crossing over the two sources.
This would be a GIANT win for Nintendo. Stay tuned for more news regarding NX rumors.
Something just doesn’t add up. At the conclusion of Ubisoft’s AMAZING E3 2013 press conference, we were, yet again, left wondering if Beyond Good and Evil 2 would ever show its face. The game was announced a while back but no mention of the highly sought after sequel has surfaced as of this writing… This has left me wondering; is Beyond Good and Evil 2 headed exclusively to the Nintendo Wii U?
The publisher posted the following tease on its official Facebook page stating the following
“We’re a bit busy prepping for E3. Time to call in some reinforcements,” reads the message, which is accompanied by an image of Pey’J, one of the lead characters from the first Beyond Good & Evil.
And we have yet to see the game in action. Surely Ubisoft wouldn’t toy with us gamers, would they? This, along with the following statements, leads me to believe that the Wii U may indeed be getting Beyond Good and Evil 2 for their platform. Check out the following info regarding the title:
Ubisoft developer Mathieu Audrain who was working on Beyond Good and Evil 2 had listed that the game could be coming to Wii U via his Linkedin profile. Audrain was also the level designer behind both ZombiU and Beyond Good and Evil 2.
Also,Michel Ancel, the creator behind Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil, has stated that he believes that the Wii U would be a good fit for the long-awaited Beyond Good & Evil 2 and with Ubisoft NOT showing the title at their E3 conference, can this be a good sign of things to come for Wii U owners?
Nintendo’s E3 2013 Direct will air tomorrow morning and I am certain that the big N would LOVE to drop this bomb on the world during their big E3 Nintendo Direct. It will be only a matter of time before we see if my prediction is right. Stay tuned.
