eShop News: Mutant Mudds Deluxe to be Released in June

Wii U owners get ready for another fantastic addition to the Wii U eShop as it looks as though Mutant Mudds Deluxe is set to be Released in June. One of the bright spots for the Wii U has been its fantastic eShop content and Mutant Mudds looks to extend that awesome library next month.

Fingers crossed that this makes it in June.

This just in, Tengami Confirmed For Wii U eShop (made from ex-Rare employees)

Nyamyam, the development team created by a small number of ex-Rare employees, has officially announced that they are bringing Tengami to the Wii U eShop. The developers believe that the nature of the game makes it a perfect fit for the Wii U GamePad. The team also says that there are some unique features the Wii U has that they can take advantage of to make the game even better. Here’s what they had to say about the game:

Wii U New Patch for Toki Tori 2 Incoming

Game developers Two Tribes has revealed that a patch will be released to address some of the issues in eShop standout Toki Tori 2 for the Wii U. The platformer/puzzle title has been on the Nintendo eShop for over three weeks, but the developers thought it was time to provide an update for those problems players have experienced. The update has already been submitted to Nintendo and should hit the eShop soon.

Check out the list of improvements below:

Improved the flow of the game after reaching the room with the ‘thing’
Added another super-secret area
Fixed a bug where Toki Tori was invisible after returning to the game
Fades between levels now fade the audio too
Simplified the puzzle in the underwater passage

Well my friends, it has been a long time coming but Toki Tori 2 has finally landed on the Wii U eShop and it is good. What starts off as a slow puzzle title with no explanation or back story quickly becomes an addicting game that truly spreads its adorable feathers a good 2 hours in.

Here is an all new Toki Tori 2 Release Date Announcement Trailer for everyone to watch. The highly anticipated title is headed to the eShop on April 4th. I am a HUGE fan of the bright colors and the puzzle elements have definitely piqued my interest. The Wii U eShop is really taking shape and I have been beyond thrilled with the content that has been provided thus far.

Developer WayForward Technologies has reduced the price of its puzzle-platforming, download-only game on Nintendo’s latest console. For a limited time, until February 28th, you can download Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition from the Nintendo eShop on Wii U for $4.99 – which is 50% off its original price, $9.99.

This is great news for Wii U owners starved for a new game and I will be downloading this one as soon as the kiddos go to bed.

Wii U gamers get ready; the above video showcases all new Toki Tori 2 footage for your viewing pleasure. The upcoming Wii U eShop release is high on my list and I cannot wait until this game hits the store. There has been a bit of a software drought as of late but that looks to end next month with some big releases both at retail and on the eShop.

According to the official twitter feed for Two Tribes, gamers who were hoping for a demo of the upcoming Wii U eShop title Toki Tori 2 will be out of luck. The company has stated that there will be no demo for Toki Tori 2 because they are fully concentrating on making the game the best as it can possibly be.

I plan on getting Toki Tori 2 once its released and I am thrilled that so much seems to be going into the title. This game has all the markings of Wii U eShop gold and you can bet your bottom dollar I will be eagerly awaiting its release.
