Well, we knew it… Super Mario Run has arrived on the App Store and has taken it by storm. Since Nintendo announced the mobile game, players have been eager to get access to everyone’s favorite plumber on their phone (legally) and has become a massive success for the company. Super Mario Run has already been downloaded 2.85 million times and has become the biggest launch in the history of the App Store.
Nintendo HAS to be pleased and it’s only the beginning. We expect the game to sit on top of the charts for quite some time.
Congrats Nintendo. Keep it here for more news on Super Mario Run’s tremendous success.
Good news Pokemon GO players; more cute creatures have been added to the immensely popular mobile game! Beginning today, players will have the opportunity to add Togepi, Pichu and select Pokémon originally discovered in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games to their Pokémon GO Pokédex. Check out the full rundown below and get ready to catch more Pokemon!
Here is what they had to say:
“As we race toward 2017, we can’t help but feel grateful for the support and reaction the Pokémon GO community has given us, and we’re delighted to start rolling out select Pokémon for them to hatch,” said Kei Kawai, director of product at Niantic, Inc. “We’re also looking forward to celebrating the season with our community by introducing a Pikachu wearing a festive hat, providing Trainers the opportunity to get out and explore their neighborhoods with friends and family as they gather for the holidays.”
“Fans around the world fell in love with Pokémon GO for the opportunity to encounter Pokémon—beloved pop-culture and gaming icons for 20 years—in the real world. Matched with the innovative technology and development of the mobile game by Niantic, hundreds of millions of players have filled their Pokédexes with over 100 available Pokémon in Pokémon GO while exploring the world around them,” said J.C. Smith, senior director of consumer marketing at The Pokémon Company International. “The opportunity to hatch select Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region is just the beginning of how more Pokémon will be added to the game for Trainers to continue their Pokémon GO adventures.”
I must say I love the newest changes in the title and cannot wait until we can trade as well. We fully expect Pokemon GO to continue to be very popular well into 2017. Enjoy.

Nintendo has announced the final release date for Super Mario Run for iOS. The highly anticipated title will release on December 15th and will run $9.99. Nintendo first showcased the mobile game during one of Apple’s event’s and it was pretty sweet to see Shiggy on stage with Apple’s big names. Here is what they had to say regarding the game:
“The wait is almost over for a Super Mario game that can be played on mobile devices,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Developed under the direction of Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario Run brings a new take on the series’ beloved action-platforming gameplay to iPhone and iPad for the first time.”
Super Mario Run is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 8.0 or later. Count us in.
Once again, Pokemon Go sits atop the top grossing games list on the iOS charts. The Halloween event most likely has given the popular title the boost so I am certain Niantic is taking notice. Last week, the game had fallen as low as number ten. With the additions coming to Pokemon GO, we can see this trend continuing for the near future.

In case you didn’t know, Super Mario Run for iOS is going to be HUGE. According to Apple’s Tim Cook, 20 million people have already to hit the ‘Notify’ button for Super Mario Run when it comes out. Apple placed information about the game on its app store and millions of people want to know when the game is fully released. It was a joy to see Nintendo take center stage during an Apple event and we can’t wait to get our hand (yes 1 hand) on the game.
