Masahiro Sakurai Working on All New Project

Legendary developer Masahiro Sakurai, the man behind the Super Smash Bros franchise, has confirmed that he is currently working on a brand new project. Since Nintendo has an all new system coming out in March, one can only assume the game is for the upcoming Nintendo Switch platform. Details regarding this new project are scarce (which is to be expected) but we are happy beyond belief to hear this news. The fact that this states that the project is brand new has us extra excited.

Will The Nintendo Switch Cost $249?

The Nintendo Switch’s price might have just been leaked way by the Canadian website for Toys “R” Us. The popular toy retailer listed the Nintendo Switch to “weigh in” around $329.99 Canadian dollars, which roughly equates to $245 – a price that could be rounded to $249 and possibly €249 for Europe. While there is no confirmation on this (we actually think there could be multiple Sku’s due to bundles), this price point certainly does have a nice ring to it. At $249, the Nintendo Switch may be hard to deny when it’s released in March.

Nintendo Switch Will Clearly Use Amiibo’s, New Mario Title Shown

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words but I will try to keep this story short and precise. Check out this picture that was taken from the official reveal for the Nintendo Switch. Clearly, this woman is playing an all new Mario title and directly next to the Nintendo Switch system is a nice little collection of Amiibo figures. This would lead me to believe that Amiibo’s will indeed be used with Nintendo’s next generation home console, Nintendo Switch. Obviously more and more details will be coming out about the system, but we can start to put some pieces of the puzzle together now that this 3 minute trailer has arrived.

What do you guys think?

I am optimistic about it but I am very interested to hear what you guys have to say. I like the name to be honest… Nintendo Switch seems catchy enough to be something cool.

Nintendo Switch is The Name of Nintendo’s Next Home Console

cvn42kow8aainmaNintendo Switch is the official name of the next Nintendo home console. The home console, which was shown during a 3 minute trailer, showcased a new home console, detachable controllers, a tablet of sorts that gamers will be taken with you. It was a nifty little trailer that will no doubt leave more questions than answers at this point. I am finally happy that we got to see the system in some capacity and it’s definitely interesting to say the least.

What do you guys think about the new system?
