If you are like me, Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch is on your gaming radar. Although I have already played (and freaking LOVED) the game, I plan on “double dipping” when Ubisoft drops the game for Nintendo Switch. Well my friends, it appears as though an official release date for Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition on Switch has been announced. Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is now showing as having a release date as September 12, 2017. A demo is available right now in Europe and I am hoping to hear something soon for a US version. We fully expect some more added goodies to this “definitive edition” for Rayman Legends and we will share them once they are announced.
It has been announced that Sony is once again king of the consoles as they posted impressive sales numbers for the PS4 last month. The PS4 outsold both the XBOX One and Nintendo’s newest machine, the Nintendo Switch. The new gold 1TB slim PlayStation 4 drove those sales and led to the best June ever for PS4 system sales.
Sony launched the limited edition gold PS4 slim for $250 on June 9. Only time will tell if this momentum keeps up but we will be here to report it.
In case you missed it, I posted another Nintendo Switch related video on my YouTube channel, so check it out above! In this video, I discuss the major restock that is coming for the system and how Splatoon 2 will play a major role in that.
During a recent earnings call, Ubisoft has stated that it has more Nintendo Switch games coming down the pipeline and they will be announced “very soon”. Ubisoft has always been a big supporter of Nintendo consoles and I can’t wait to see what they will be bringing to the Switch. In August, the company will release Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle exclusively for the system and I plan on picking it up late next month.
As soon as Ubisoft announces its Switch games, we will be here to break the news. More as it develops my friends.
Nintendo has announced that its upcoming Super Mario Odyssey title for the Nintendo Switch will make full use of the HD Rumble feature found in the Switch joy cons. Players will be able to feel such things as the motorbike’s vibrations, or Mario’s landing on a metal surface, according to Shinya Takahashi from Nintendo. Nintendo also shared that players will use motion controls when you throw the adorable Cappy. Here is the official quote regarding this awesome news:
Overall, the game (Super Mario Odyssey) will be the first major showpiece for all the various features of the Nintendo Switch controllers.
Super Mario Odyssey is out on October 27th exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
In case you missed it, Splatoon 2 will be getting its own Nintendo Direct tomorrow, July 5th. The length for the big show has been revealed and the Nintendo Direct will be around 25 minutes long. Splatoon 2 will be Nintendo Switch’s next big title and, like we have mentioned before, Nintendo will be going all out for this one. Splatoon 2 will be getting its own Switch bundle and even a colorful pro controller.
Expect a ton of Splatoon 2 news tomorrow. Keep it here.
The internet has been abuzz today as Platinum Games tweeted the image above clearly featuring Bayonetta. What was interesting was that the image’s colors strike a remarkable resemblance to the colorful red and blue joy cons found on the Nintendo Switch. Platinum Games furthers the tease by favoriting a comment stating that the colors were reminiscent of the Switch’s joy cons. No more details have been given thus far but we fully expect to hear something in the near future regarding the franchise and whether or not it will appear on Nintendo’s latest console. I think too many things are lining up for this NOT to happen but we will have to wait and see.
