Pokken Tournament, the popular fighting game for the Wii U, has now shipped over 1 million units. The title, which debuted on the Wii U 5 months ago, seems to have struck a cord with fans worldwide and we hope to see the game receive a much deserved sequel.
Good news for Bandai’s brawler… Here’s hoping we get another one on the upcoming Nintendo NX console.
Did you pick up Pokken Tournament for Wii U?
The official Guinness World Records site has reported that Pokemon GO has broken 5 records. They are “Most revenue grossed by a mobile game in its first month”, “Most downloaded mobile game in its first month”, “Most international charts topped simultaneously for a mobile game in its first month (downloads)”, “Most international charts topped simultaneously for a mobile game in its first month (revenue)” and “Fastest time to gross $100 million by a mobile game”. The site says the records were confirmed after “consulting the kings of digital data SuperData”.
The game is also said to be on track to earn over 1 BILLION (yes, with a “B”) by the end of 2016.
The immensely popular Pokemon GO game is now available in Brazil. The game has been a long time coming to the country, so it will be sweet to see Pokemon GO head straight to #1 there as well. I have been having a decent time with the game although I need to get “back into it” as I have took a break from hunting down Pokemon (I needed to load up on Pokeballs and I refuse to pay just yet)..
In other Pokemon Go news, the game has apparently made over 160 MILLION in revenue. Players could buy in game items with real money and apparently everyone is doing so.
Gotta catch em all I guess.
The Pokemon Go Plus accessory, a separate device that enhances the gaming experience for Pokemon Go, has been delayed until September. The device is another way for Nintendo to profit from the game’s runaway success and no reason was given for the delay of the accessory. The Pokemon Go Plus accessory will no doubt send the gaming public into a swirl and I am certain this thing is going to sell like hotcakes when it’s finally released.
Here is a VLOG showcasing the fam and I hunting for Pokemon in Pokemon GO! We had an awesome time in downtown Buffalo and look forward to more adventures. If you like this video and want to see more like it, let me know! It was extremely fun haunting down Pokemon in Pokemon GO and we can’t wait to see what other Pokemon we find. The team leaders for the popular Pokemon GO game have been revealed. The announcement was made during the San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Niantic CEO John Hanke revealed the different Team Leaders for Pokemon GO are as follows:
– Team Valor: Candela
– Team Mystic: Blanche

I have been enjoying Pokemon GO immensely and I can understand all the hype. The game has literally become a worldwide phenomenon and it’s actually been pretty neat talking to random strangers about the game.
Who is your Pokemon Go team leader?
The mobile game that is taking the world by storm is now available in Canada. Canadian gamers can now “catch ’em all” as Pokemon GO has hit their mobile app store. Pokemon Go has literally transformed the way how people play on mobile and has been downloaded by a TON of people (which is an understatement). Canadian gamers will no doubt experience some server issues as everyone in the county will be downloading the popular mobile game. Keep at it though as the title is pretty unique and is very fun to play.
Enjoy! Have you been playing Pokemon Go?!
Gamespot has put together a pretty interesting video for the popular mobile title, Pokemon Go, so give it a watch and let us know what you think. Dead bodies being found, wanted criminals being captured, crazy stuff is happening because of Pokemon Go, so let us know what you think of the video.
Pokemon Go has literally taken the world by storm and I do have to say that I am addicted as well. We will be uploading a video soon on my YouTube channel showcasing our family outing so be sure to subscribe.
Pokemon Go is big. I could actually end this article there and it would be enough for this entire story. Pokemon Go is currently being played by over 7.5 MILLION people and it hasn’t even been out for a week. The game skyrocketed to the top of the app store charts and has already become the #1 grossing title as well. The game is so big it has caused Nintendo’s stock to go up in price by a staggering 25%. EVERYONE is playing Pokemon Go and it has only begun. In addition to these crazy downloads, Sensor Tower estimates that Pokémon Go is generating $1.6 million in revenue from iOS in the U.S. alone (this number doesn’t count Android sales).
The reason you keep bumping into other Pokémon Go players is because millions of people are trying to catch ’em all.
Approximately 7.5 million iOS and Android owners have downloaded Pokémon Go in the United States since Wednesday, according to app-market intelligence firm Sensor Tower. The rush to download it (and spend money on it) has pushed Nintendo’s stock up 25 percent on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The location-based augmented reality game puts digital pocket monsters into your real world using GPS data, which requires you to get out of the house and go walking to get the most from the mechanics. It is only out in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand — and it is coming to Europe and Asia in the next few days, according to The Pokémon Company. But while the rest of the world waits, Poké-trainers that do have access to the app have made it the No. 1 game in terms of downloads and revenues in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. Mobile gaming is a $36.9 billion business, but something like Pokémon Go could fuel further growth as it attracts different people to its appealing brand and different style of gameplay.
In addition to the downloads, Sensor Tower estimates that Pokémon Go is generating $1.6 million in revenue from iOS in the U.S. alone. That doesn’t even include Android. When you look at all three active territories and all platforms, the number is huge.
“Pokémon Go as so far managed to generate $14.04 million across mobile platforms since its release,” SuperData Research analyst Joost van Dreunen said in a statement. “[This puts] it ahead of other titles using the franchise, including Pokémon Shuffle Mobile which has earned an estimated $14.03 million since its release in August 2015.”
