Here are the latest hardware sales for the Japanese market. It looks as though the Nintendo 3DS is unstoppable over seas while Sony’s last generation handheld managed to come in at #2. Here is the rest of the list below:

Quick Update: Sony has confirmed an official demo date for Gravity Rush has been dated. According to the good guys at Joystiq, it will be made available on May 29 in North America and May 30 in Europe.
The full retail game is slated for a mid-June release.

The cross platform play looks very interesting and the un-lockable characters available for the PS3 owners makes me wish i picked up the PS3 copy instead….
Still it looks as though Sony’s troubled handheld (I say troubled due to slow sales…. I LOVE my PS Vita) is getting a fantastic addition to their growing lineup.
