In case you missed it, Resident Evil 7 will be getting a pretty sweet collectors edition. The Resident Evil 7 Collector’s Edition is priced at $180 and will include the following content (also see image above):
Resident Evil 7 biohazard Base Game
Mansion Music Box (8” Tall) that plays a sample of Aunt Rhody with accompanying LED effects.
Dummy Finger 4G USB Drive
Exclusive Metal Case
VHS Tape Box
Looks pretty spiffy if you ask me. I love these “over the top” collectors editions… Just don’t have the money.
Will you be picking this up?
Those who are dying (see what I did there) to play Resident Evil 7 better plan on picking up a PSVR, as the game is set to be exclusive to the system/peripheral for the first 12 months. This seems to be quite a scary game on its own so it should be doubly freaky in VR. PSVR is set to launch this month for the PS4 while Resident Evil 7 will arrive in 2017. Let me know if you plan on picking up a PSVR.
Dr. Serkan Toto is reporting that Resident Evil 7 is in development and will indeed be showcased during E3 2016. The game is apparently being worked on by Jordan Amaro, a designer who previously worked on Metal Gear Solid V and P. T. at Kojima Productions. Dr. Toto also reports that Resident Evil 7 will take the series back to its roots so we will be interested to see exactly what that means…
E3 2016 is right around the corner and we will have all the news for you right here. Stay tuned.
