Titanfall Tips And Tricks

Titanfall is officially the next big thing and with gamers everywhere flexing their Titan muscles, we here at myvideogamenews.com thought that we would put together a nice little list to help you all out with the title. I have already played countless hours with the title (it’s borderline unhealthy) and have compiled for Titanfall tips and tricks for everyone to check out.

So without further ado, here are some helpful tips for Titanfall.

Float Like a Butterfly Sting Like a Bee.

This is not call of duty. I repeat, this is not a Call of Duty game. Once we get past that way of thinking your world will soon open up. Your pilot has the ability to wall run, double jump and traverse laterally as well as vertically. Try and get use to this as quick as possible because it will give you the upper hand. Get on top of building and rain down the fire on your opponents. The quicker you learn how to traverse the levels in Titanfall the better.

Cloaking Should Be Your New Best Friend

It may seem like a no brainier to hit the RB button while you’re playing Titanfall but I can’t tell you how many times I could’ve avoided death simply by being cloaked. When you are mostly invisible it’s a lot harder for you to be detected thus opening you to throw some much needed shells your opponents way. I know this tip may not sound like a tip for playing per say but when you start Titanfall for the first time, an immediate rush comes over you with all the action going on that this simple, yet very effective press of a button will help you stay alive immensely.

Turn Auto Run On

Right under the settings option there is a nifty little option that allows players to turn auto run on. Do it. This is a fast paced game so be sure to flick this awesome option on and free up a thumb for other purposes. At first I wasn’t sure if I would like this option but has turned out to be a very valuable asset. No matter how much you may want to slow down the game, this is a fast paced battle and even if you choose to snipe as your main source of shooting, you are still going to need to get to your favorite sniping spots as quickly and easily as possible so get use to this option quickly.

Don’t Stop Moving

Don’t stop moving, I repeat, don’t stop moving. Unless you’re really good at hiding, you need to keep moving and shooting. If you become complacent and wait for the action to come to you, it will already be too late. Wall-running not only increases your speed it becomes imperative. Don’t stop moving.

Time Those Titanfalls

Whenever you have the ability to summon your Titan try and time it with your opponents on the ground. Not only does this cause crazy impact, it will kill everything it drops on. This allowed me to rack up some easy kills and Titanfalls do some massive damage when they are dropped. It also happens to be very satisfying.

As always, thanks for reading. If you are enjoying Titanfall as much as I am, leave us a comment in the comment section!

Titanfall Beta Will Feature an Anti-Cheat System

Screen Shot 2014-02-07 at 7.11.57 PM

Titanfall, the highly anticipated FPS headed to XBOX One and XBOX 360, will feature an anti-cheat system for its beta test. The game is set to release in March and looks nothing short of stunning. Titanfall will release exclusively on XBOX One, XBOX 360 and PC. I think this is going to be the next big franchise but only time will tell.

What do you guys think?

Titanfall Respawn Entertainment: Making Titanfall

Respawn Entertainment has smashed all award records for their upcoming debut game Titanfall, in our latest For The Win interview Jessica Chobot talks to the team about the studio’s origin’s and their pedigree for making some of the biggest FPS games of all time!

The starting point for Respawn Entertainment was not as easy and straightforward as you might expect. An ongoing lawsuit coupled with the stress of starting a new company has required a lot of determination and experience to reach the point that Respawn has today. In the beginning, staff had nothing to work with but a derelict building, some fold-out chairs and their passion for creating games.

The reaction to the first Titanfall trailer back at E3 2013 has only added to the motivation of the staff, many of whom had no idea how gamers would react. From a team with FPS experience ranging from Medal of Honor to Call of Duty however; it comes as no surprise that they are developing a title with plenty of hype and expectation surrounding it. Despite this, the developers will only be happy when the game is released and has lived up to the standard that is expected of it.

What are your thoughts on the controller? I dig it but people seem to be pretty split down the middle on the controller.

MVGN’s Top 5 Titles We Are Looking Forward to For 2014

2014 has just begun and already the games that will be delivered this year will be nothing short of amazing. From Mario Kart to inFamous, 2014 is already shaping up to be a year to remember in terms of gaming entertainment. With all the excitement surrounding the new year, we have compiled a list of games that we are most excited about for this upcoming year (it was pretty hard to narrow it down to just 5)….

So without further ado, here are the top 5 games for 2014 that we can’t wait to play:

X (Monolith’s Wii U title)

Not much is known about Monolith’s new Wii U project but that hasn’t stopped me from desperately wanting this promising title. Since it was shown during last year’s Nintendo Direct, I have been itching to hear more and more about this game and it appears as though I am not alone. A number of forums that I frequent can’t wait to see more and Monolith/Nintendo may have a huge hit on their hands once this one is delivered. Although no time frame has been given for its inevitable release, I am expecting to see this one later this year.

Super Smash Bros Wii U

Super Smash Bros. always seems to be a no brainer in terms of games to look forward to. With its stellar lineup of classic Nintendo franchises and frantic gameplay, Super Smash Bros Wii U is looking better and better by the day.   The game is set to launch later this year and the cast of characters is already shaping up to be amazing.  I hope that Nintendo decides to support this one with DLC and places a huge emphasis with online play.  Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS is going to be something to remember for year’s to come.

Uncharted (PS4)

This will be the game that will make me purchase a PS4 in the very near future. I am a HUGE fan of the series and cannot imagine what will come of this game when it’s on the impressive PS4. What Naughty Dog has done with the PS3 is nothing short of outstanding so I cannot even fathom what they have in store for the PS4. I really think that the new Uncharted game is going to set the bar for next gen games and will continue this amazing franchise for year’s to come.

Hello. My name is Gary and I am addicted to HearthStone. While the game is still in beta, I simply LOVE everything about this TCG and I already know I will be sinking most of my 2014 into this game. I love collecting new cards and tweaking out my decks in the beta already and cannot wait to see what this looks and plays like on my iPad. If you are even remotely interested in this game but haven’t gotten to play it in its beta form, I assure you, this one is going to be special.

This is going to be a big one. Every time I see something new on TitanFall, my heart skips a beat. What’s cooler than giant robots, an amazing FPS and competitive online play? Nothing. TitanFall has all the markings to be something spectacular and I pray that the team delivers come March. This game is going to be a giant feather in Microsoft’s cap and is being headed up by some impressive developers. TitanFall is going to be HUGE when it’s released and I will be there to play it in all its glory.

There are a number of other titles that almost made our list but if we had to pick just 5, there they are. As always, thanks for reading.

What are your top 5?
