Nintendo has announced that it will release the upcoming Zelda sometime in 2017. The game will release simultaneously on Wii U and Nintendo NX in 2017. The company also announced that the new Zelda will be its main focus at this year’s E3 giving gamer “full immersion” for the title.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD has recently launched for the Wii U and gives one of Zelda’s best adventures the HD remake treatment. The title also launched with a special Wolf link Amiibo that will carry over to the next Zelda later this year.

Here is the first commercial for the upcoming Wii U re-release, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. The 30 second spot conveys the game perfectly and really has us excited to play when it is released on March 4th. Nintendo has published a short The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD – GameCube & Wii U Comparison video so be sure to give it a watch up above. The 38 second spot highlights some of the HD improvements that the Wii U version holds over its Gamecube predecessor but provides only a very small glimpse as to what gamers an expect from the upcoming HD release.

Dedicated gamer Runnerguy2489 has managed to beat the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 blindfold! This impressive feat took 103 hours once all was said and done. It’s actually pretty interesting if you give the video a watch and I tip my hat off to this dude for doing this. I could only imagine how many times he has played this game.

If you want to see how Ocarina of Time looks using the Unreal Engine 4, check out the video above. I am amazed by things like this and I wonder if Nintendo has ever noticed these types of videos. The footage is a marvelous rendition of Kakariko Village from the famous Ocarina of Time. I love the subtle blur effects and the amount of detail that went into the environments. The water also looks absolutely stunning.
Check out the footage and make sure you give the video thumbs up… Maybe Nintendo will take notice.
During today’s Nintendo Digital Event, the company has announced that an all new Zelda is headed to the Nintendo 3DS. The game, entitled Zelda Triforce Heroes, will be headed to retail this Holiday season. The game is reminiscent of Zelda Four Swords Adventure minus 1. The game will feature a heavy multiplayer component and looks pretty interesting.
